* Hot and dry weather persists Tuesday with warm overnight lows
  and poor overnight RH recoveries, which may allow fire activity
  to continue through the overnight period.

* Afternoon wind gusts of 25-30 mph on Tuesday, bringing periods
  of elevated fire weather conditions. Lesser winds expected on
  Wednesday with a 40-50% chance of showers and thunderstorms.

* Temperatures will be in a cooling trend through this week with
  an increased risk for afternoon showers and thunderstorms
  Thursday.
