...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MINERAL AND CENTRAL
LYON COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM PDT...

At 231 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Mason, or 29 miles northeast of Topaz Lake, moving
northeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Mineral and central Lyon Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
