...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THURSDAY TO 7 AM PST
FRIDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches between 6000 and
  7000 feet. Above 7000 feet, snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches
  with 12 to 18 inches possible along the highest peaks. Winds
  gusting as high as 80 mph along the Sierra crest.

* WHERE...Mono County.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Thursday to 7 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THURSDAY TO 7 AM PST
FRIDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches between 6000 and
  7000 feet. Above 7000 feet, snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
  with up to a foot along the highest peaks. Winds gusting as high
  as 60 mph along the highest peaks.

* WHERE...Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM Thursday to 7 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
  The greatest impacts from this storm will be on passes such as
  Anchorite on Nevada Highway 359 and Montgomery on US Highway 6.
