Warm and dry today, with elevated to critical fire weather.
Southwest wind gusts 25 to 30 mph will be common across the area,
with areas over 30 mph, especially in the higher terrain. RHs will
be lowest over zones 414 and 416, where Red Flag Warnings are in
place though Friday. A mostly dry cold front moves through this
evening from the north, which trends high temperatures tomorrow 5 to
10 degrees cooler. Chance of showers is 15 to 40 percent across
zones 140 and 415 this evening through tomorrow morning, though no
wetting rain is expected. RHs remain similar tomorrow, with gusty
winds continuing the elevated to critical fire weather conditions.

25 mph for much of the area, strongest over the higher terrain and
south (zones 283 and 289). A mostly dry cold front moves in from the
north this evening. Shower and storm chances will be limited to far
northern areas, zones 275, 276, 286, and northern 282. No wetting
rain expected. Winds turn north-northwest behind the front.
Temperatures tomorrow trend 10 to 20 degrees cooler, though minimum
RHs will only trend up to 10 percent higher. Elevated to critical
fire weather remains tomorrow as gusty winds occur.

evening and into tomorrow morning. High temperatures tomorrow trend
about 10 to 15 degrees cooler. RHs trend up to 10 percent high for
most locations, with around 15 percent improvements in northern zone
280 and zone 281. Elevated to critical fire weather conditions will
still be in place tomorrow, with RHs around or less than 15 percent
and afternoon wind gusts up to around 30 mph, especially across
southern zones.
