Dry and very warm conditions with mostly clear to partly cloudy
skies and breezy northwest winds will continue into the early
evening across western WY. Mild conditions overnight with poor RH
recovery in the higher terrain. Very warm and dry conditions are
again expected Wednesday, with breezy and gusty (slightly
stronger) northwest winds in the afternoon. Mild again Wednesday
night. A dry cold front will push from north to south Thursday,
increasing north-northeast winds.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms over parts of the higher
terrain will continue into the early evening hours, with some
showers and storms moving southeast over the lower elevations.
Gusty outflow of 30+ mph is likely around the storms. A cool front
will move north to south through the dispatch area Wednesday, with
breezy north winds. Very isolated showers and thunderstorms are
expected over the mountains, but not as good of chances as
Tuesday. A stronger cold front will push north to south through
the dispatch area Thursday, with very gusty (40+ mph) north winds,
and increased clouds in the afternoon with no precipitation
expected.

Mostly clear skies with relatively light winds over much of the
area with very warm and dry conditions, though southeast of the
mountains could see light showers and isolated thunderstorms this
afternoon into the early evening. The most likely areas are In
Johnson and Natrona Counties SE of the Bighorns, and over the
South Pass area SE of the Wind Rivers. Mild conditions overnight
will give way to a cool front in zones 281 and 280 Wednesday
morning with gusty NNE winds. Low- and mid-level clouds are
likely in these areas into the early afternoon, but the rest of
the dispatch area will continue with very warm and dry conditions
with some breezy NNW winds. A stronger dry cold front will move
north to south Thursday through the area, with 40+ mph winds
likely in zone 281 and gusty north-northeast winds elsewhere.
