.DISCUSSION...
Showers and a few thunderstorms move through initially this
morning, with a 40 percent chance of a wetting rain above 0.10
inches. A few of these showers may produce brief southwest wind
gusts 20 to 25 mph. Redevelopment of showers is expected around
1300, and will continue on and off through the rest of the
afternoon. Some gusty winds again are possible with any passing
thunderstorms. Outside of any shower activity, winds will remain
generally light, with most winds staying terrain influenced only
at 3 to 6 mph. Humidity levels will remain elevated through the
afternoon, likely holding above 40 percent through 1500.
Shower activity should be ending by 1900, with remaining moisture
helping bring excellent humidity recovery near 70 percent. Winds
will be light downslope under 5 mph.
Showers are possible again on Tuesday, but will be more isolated.
These storms will have less potential for gusty winds, any rain
accumulations will be minimal.
