.DISCUSSION...
Southwest winds continue the rest of today, with occasional gusts to
around 15 mph through 1800L. Then, southwest winds 5 to 7 mph
overnight. A few showers or storms are possible (15 percent) through
sunset, with gusty outflow winds to around 40 mph the main hazard.
Overnight, clouds decrease with patchy smoke from fires over the
western US making its way into the area. Low temperatures will be in
the low 50s between 0300 and 0800.
Wednesday, shower and thunderstorm chances increase around 1100,
with 20 to 40 percent chances through the remainder of the day.
Outside any storms, winds will be from the southwest around 10 mph,
with gusts 15 to 20 mph possible. Storm chances decrease by 2200,
with light winds Wednesday night. Smoke increases Wednesday night.
