.DISCUSSION...

Warmer and drier conditions are expected Thursday as high
pressure persists over the region. As the inversion begins to lift
around 1000, a breezy southwest wind will set in for the
afternoon. Frequent gusts to 20 mph are expected through 1800
before wind decreases through sunset. However, southwest wind is
expected to pick back up around midnight, keeping breezy
conditions going through the overnight hours. Additionally,
humidity recovery will be poor during this time. Also to note will
be increased instability during the peak burning period as mixing
heights increase to over 12000 ft AGL. Similar conditions are
expected on Friday though with wind slightly higher. Little chance
of precipitation through the weekend.
