.DISCUSSION...
Expect a light easterly wind through this morning increasing after
1200 with gusts to 20 mph through the afternoon. Showers and
thunderstorms will start to build in the area after 1200, though
the best chances at the fire will be between 1800 and 2300. This
activity will move from the southwest to northeast, and could
bring a sudden shift from out of the east to out of the west or
southwest. There is some moisture in the atmosphere today and this
could bring brief heavy rain this evening if a cell goes directly
over the fire. Unsettled conditions continue on Thursday with
additional storm chances by late afternoon.
