A Winter weather system moved through the region beginning Saturday evening with snowfall occurring across much of western WY through early Monday evening. Greatest snowfall amounts occurred across the western WY mountains and higher elevations in Yellowstone National Park. Accumulating snow was also measured across the Western Valleys, most notably Star Valley on Sunday. There were also a few isolated reports around Casper and in Johnson County, as well as the Cody Foothills, most of which fell on Monday with convective snow showers that occurred off an on through the afternoon.
