The National Weather Service in Charleston has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 800 AM EDT.

* At 350 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding due to
  heavy rain from thunderstorms. Between 1.5 and 4.5 inches of rain
  fell across the warned area. Flooding impacts will continue, but
  no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Webster Springs, Addison (Webster Springs), Cowen and Upper Glade.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll
free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
