...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Central Athens County in southeastern Ohio...

* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
  flood-prone locations is occurring. Low-water crossings could be
  inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 847 PM EDT, flooding is ongoing with several roads closed
    across the area due to lingering high water. Doppler radar and
    area rain gauges indicate between 1.75 and 2 inches of rain fell
    earlier this morning.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Jacksonville, Trimble and Amesville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
