...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...North Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio...

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...At 14.5 feet, portions of Broad Street and the campground
  next to the Duck Creek gauge at Macksburg flood. At 13 feet, Main
  Street near the creek and agricultural fields adjacent to the creek
  flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1249 PM EDT, the gauge on Duck Creek at Macksburg was at 14.8
    feet.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Macksburg and Lower Salem.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Report flooding to the National Weather Service by calling toll free,
800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
