Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. High water was running down the hillside and flowing across Elk River Road from Mink Shoals to Clendenin, up to six inches deep in spots. There was also high water at the intersection of Sissonville and Chandler drives, and at the intersection of Kanawha Turnpike and Rock Lake Drive. High water elsewhere in Kanawha County was receding. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
