.DISCUSSION...
Slow moving and heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected through
early next week amid continuing very warm and humid conditions.
While the risk for severe thunderstorms will remain limited, the
risk for localized flash flooding will increase as soils become
compromised from locally heavy rain. Sunday looks to be the day that
is most likely to see potentially locally significant flooding with
slow moving storms, likely focused in the northeast mountains and
adjacent foothills.
