.DISCUSSION...
High pressure traversing north of the area today will provide a
mainly dry finish to the weekend amid pleasant temperatures and a
decent amount of sunshine. Isolated showers are possible across
southern West Virginia and southwest Virginia.
Looking ahead to next week, humidity will gradually increase
bringing a return of the chance for showers and thunderstorms
starting Tuesday onward, primarily during the afternoon and evening
hours. The best chance for rain will be on Wednesday as a weak
disturbance crosses the region.
