.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will advertise dry weather through the middle of the
week before turning active once more beginning on Thursday into the
weekend. Winds today may be light and variable at times, but gusts
nearing 10 to 15 miles per hour out of the north to northwest remain
possible through the afternoon and evening. A shift in the winds out
of the southeast is expected to occur overnight tonight into Tuesday.
A change in wind direction begins to occur just before midnight tonight,
veering gradually out of the east during the predawn hours, then out
of the southeast around 7 AM Tuesday morning. Additionally, an uptick in
gusts are expected to take shape Tuesday morning, reaching speeds of
around 20 miles per hour shortly after 4 AM. Surface wind gusts then
gradually taper off through the late morning into the afternoon on Tuesday.
