the mountains of West Virginia.

A prolonged period of hot weather continues this week, with heat
index values reaching mid 80s to mid 90s each day for all but the
highest ridges. Practice heat safety actions such as proper
hydration, watching for signs of heat stress, and taking breaks in
the shade or air conditioning.
