...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MEIGS...SOUTHWESTERN
WASHINGTON...NORTHEASTERN VINTON AND ATHENS COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
EDT...

At 716 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Glouster to near Athens to
near Lake Hope State Park. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Athens, Albany, Coolville, Tuppers Plains, Zaleski, Amesville,
Creola, Stroud Run State Park, Little Hocking, Dyesville, Darwin,
Harrisonville, Carpenter, and The Plains.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and northwestern West Virginia.
