...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN GALLIA...
SOUTHWESTERN MASON...CABELL...PUTNAM...NORTHWESTERN LINCOLN AND
NORTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM EDT...

At 1230 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles north of Milton to
Wayne. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Winfield, Wayne, Hamlin, Beech Fork State Park,
Hurricane, Barboursville, Milton, Eleanor, Buffalo, Ona, Culloden,
Teays Valley, West Hamlin, Bancroft, Athalia, Ashton, Salt Rock,
Palermo, and Pea Ridge.

This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 12
and 43.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Charleston West Virginia.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for
southeastern Ohio...and central and western West Virginia.
