.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1: Dry conditions through midweek, with rain
chances late week and into the weekend.

Strong high pressure firmly in place today, and it will
continue to bring dry weather through at least Wednesday.
Ridging will begin to breakdown by Thursday and weak upper
disturbances will round the top of the ridge. This will begin to
introduce a daily chance for scattered afternoon rain/storms
through the weekend and into early next week. Overall, severe
threat remains low given lack of shear to support organized
convection.

Temperatures will gradually increase as the week progresses,
along with increasing humidity as return flow is introduced
back into the region. Mid/upper 80s to low/mid 90s by the end of
the week and into the weekend. Overnight lows in the 50s the
next few nights will become more mild by end of the week with
lows in the 60s.

.AVIATION /12Z TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/...
VFR conditions are expected during this taf period. Exception
could be some brief fog/stratus at LWB in the through about 13z
time frame. Possibly patchy fog again tonight in favored
locations, but low confidence at this time.

Winds will turn from the north/northeast to the southeast, but
remain under 10kts.

EXTENDED AVIATION OUTLOOK...

Mainly VFR expected through Wednesday, outside of any late
night fog at the usual places like LWB/BCB.

Shower/storm chances start to increase Thu-Sat especially over
the mountains, but even aside from those appears VFR will be the
main flight rule most of the time.
