Southeastern Mercer County in southeastern West Virginia... * Until 245 AM EDT Thursday. * At 834 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and locally 3 inches of rain have fallen since 730 PM. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
