.FORECAST SUMMARY...
Surface high pressure and upper level troughing will remain
quasi-stationary over the eastern conus through the end of the
work week. This will keep cool, dry, and fall like weather over
the region through Friday. Rain chances don`t return to the
region until late Saturday and into Sunday as southerly winds
return some moisture back into the region. These shower and
thunderstorm chances look to remain mostly isolated in nature
through the weekend, with the best chances remaining along the
southern Blue Ridge where upslope flow will help initiate shower
and thunderstorm activity.
