A cool wedge of high pressure should persist east of the Blue
Ridge through tonight, but it will weaken by Saturday as a
cold front approaches from the northwest. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms are possible during the weekend. After the
cold front exits Sunday night, high pressure will return to
bring cooler and drier weather for the rest of the week.
