...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL ALLEGHANY AND
SOUTHWESTERN BATH COUNTIES IN WEST CENTRAL VIRGINIA THROUGH 845 PM
EDT...

At 810 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Natural Well, or 8 miles northwest of Clifton Forge, moving east at
10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Ingalls Field...
Carloover...
Natural Well...
Callison...
and Douthat State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
