.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (MON AM - SUN AM)...

General troffing exists along the west coast this morning as the
s/wv trof from this weekend moving across the Pacific Northwest and
far northern CA slowly makes its way toward the northern Rockies. As
this occurs...another disturbance currently over the Gulf of Alaska
is anticipated to dive down the AK and BC coast before settling over
northern CA by the middle of the week. This will bring an increased
chance of showers mainly Wednesday and Thursday to the upper Klamath
River basin and possibly down toward the Shasta Lake drainage and
Trinity Alps. Not a lot of moisture entrained into this system...and
as a result...amounts should be limited to 0.25-inch or less.

For the end of the week...this slow moving system will pick up its
forward speed and begin to shift off toward the northeast...reaching
the northern Rockies by later Friday into Saturday...while high
pressure over the eastern Pacific begins to build toward the west
coast. This will bring warmer and drier conditions to the region.
