...CHANCES OF SHOWERS ALONG THE NORTH COAST SAT PM TO SUN AND AGAIN
ON MON WITH DRY CONDITIONS AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPS ELSEWHERE...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SHORT TERM: THU PM - WED AM)...

Minimal change to the afternoon forecast. Dry conditions and warming
temperatures are anticipated for most of the region through the
forecast window. The exception being chances of showers along the
north coast and over the crest of the srn OR Cascades late Saturday
through Sunday morning and potentially again on Monday into Tuesday.
The ECMWF remains insistent on that Monday/Tuesday system moving
into the PacNW while the GFS continues to predict no precip for CA.
No major shift in the ensembles either. Left some light showers in
the forecast for Monday along the north coast. Amounts remain
similar to this morning at roughly 0.50" over the Smith Basin for
both days diminishing to less than 0.10" across the rest of the
north coast. Will continue to monitor the longer term trends
regarding a potential shift to a more active pattern later next week.
