...STORM SYSTEM TO SPREAD LIGHT PRECIPITATION OVER NORTHEAST NEVADA
TODAY INTO TOMORROW MORNING...
...POTENTIAL FOR PRECIPITATION ACROSS THE NORTH COAST BEGINNING
FRIDAY OVER THE WEEKEND WITH FLATTENING RIDGE...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (TUE PM - MON AM)...

Similar story to the morning forecast with little change to the QPF
in association with an inside slider today and into tomorrow along
with the potential for unsettled weather across the North Coast
beginning Friday. QPF was increased slightly, up to .2 inches over
the Smith basin, through the weekend as models have begun to
converge slightly (still some considerable differences). Otherwise,
conditions look to continue to be dry for a large majority of the
forecast area through the 6-day window as ridging dominates the flow
regime.

Freezing levels are forecast to lower throughout the day today and
into tomorrow with the digging low to ~10.5k feet along the coast
and 5k feet over Nevada. A return to a more north-south oriented
gradient is expected later this week as the ridge deamplifies with
freezing levels dropping to ~9k feet across the north and 13.5k feet
across the south on Sunday.
