SEVERAL DAYS...

.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (SUN AM - SAT AM)...

High pressure aloft is expected to remain anchored over the
southern/SW U.S. over the next few days.  Sufficient moisture and
instability are expected to remain in place for continued mainly
afternoon showers over portions of the Sierra, NV, and southern CA
over the next several days.  Shower coverage and amounts are
expected increase toward the end of the week over the Sierra and
northern portions of CA/NV as a trough approaches the west coast.
