.METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS (WED PM - TUE AM)...

Forecast remains on track with no major updates for the afternoon. A
strong ridge of high pressure sits over the eastern Pacific and is
expected to bring dry conditions to most of the region through the
period. A series of systems is progged to slide down the
northern/eastern side of the ridge into the PacNW late this week,
over the weekend, and potentially early next week as well. There is
still uncertainty on how much any of these may flatten the ridge and
thus how far south precip will travel. Right now it still looks
minimal with highest amounts over the crest of the Cascades (0.75-
1.50") and the Smith Basin (0.25-0.50") with barely a tenth for the
rest of the north coast. This is an increase of about 0.10" over the
Smith and nearly 0.50" over the crest of the Cascades since the
morning issuance.
