Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Will get a brief break from Canadian wildfire smoke as
southwestly flow pushes it northeast out of the area. A low
pressure system tracking through the northern lakes region today
will drop a cold front through the eastern lakes which will bring
some showers and thunderstorms this morning and afternoon. High
pressure will then build into the region for Sunday.

.TODAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly sunny. A chance of
showers and thunderstorms early in the afternoon. Showers likely and
a chance of thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...North winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots
early in the morning. Partly cloudy in the evening then clearing.
Patchy smoke after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast 5 to 10
knots in the late morning and afternoon. Mostly sunny. Patchy smoke
early in the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 knots becoming light and
variable. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 15 to 20 knots.
Mostly sunny...then mostly cloudy with a chance of light showers in
the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Showers and a chance of
thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Northwest winds 20 to 25 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 1
to 3 feet.
