Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.30 inches, begins to depart for
northeastern Ontario today setting up northwesterly flow in its
wake. Despite departure, influence of the system maintains strong
winds and lake effect snow showers through today into early
Friday. High pressure, 30.40 inches, then gradually expands across
the region Friday into Saturday. Another low, 29.60 inches, is
forecast to lift across the southern Great Lakes from the Midwest
Saturday night and Sunday, bringing widespread snow with a chance
for gusty winds in the wake of the system Sunday night.

knots in the afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Mostly cloudy with
scattered light snow showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds to 30 knots diminishing to 20 to 25 knots
after midnight. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Mostly cloudy with scattered
light snow showers in the evening...then partly cloudy after
midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.FRIDAY...West winds to 30 knots diminishing to 15 to 20 knots.
Mostly sunny. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet early in
the afternoon.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots. Mostly clear. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots backing to the south in
the afternoon...then becoming southeast 15 to 20 knots in the
evening. Partly sunny in the morning. A chance of light snow in the
afternoon. Snow in the evening. Snow may be heavy at times in the
evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots. Light rain and snow. Waves 2 to
4 feet.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
