Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...High pressure will wash out across the Appalachia region today which will veer winds to the south and southwest over the Great Lakes. A cold front will then push through the Great Lakes Thursday and bring increasing coverage of showers and embedded thunderstorms. Lingering shower and storm chances continue Friday across the southern Great Lakes.
