Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 29.90 inches, will reside over the
region today. A deepening low pressure system then moves through
the southern Great Lakes late tonight into Sunday, passing south
of Lake Erie at around 29.60 inches Sunday afternoon. This system
ushers in an arctic air mass and gusty northwest flow through the
early week. The next arctic low drops into the northern Great
Lakes mid next week.

.TONIGHT...Northeast winds 5 to 10 knots increasing to 10 to 15
knots after midnight. A chance of light rain in the evening.. then
light rain after midnight. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots. Light snow early in the
morning. Light rain until late afternoon...then light rain likely
late in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...North winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy. Light
rain and snow likely early in the evening...then light snow likely
in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY...North winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly sunny. Light snow
likely early in the morning...then a chance of light snow in the
late morning and afternoon. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west 20 to
25 knots in the late evening and overnight. Partly cloudy with a
chance of light snow. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet in
the late evening and overnight.
.TUESDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots becoming
southwest at 35 knot gales in the evening. Mostly cloudy with a
chance of light snow. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 5 feet in
the afternoon and evening. Waves occasionally around 7 feet.  A Gale
Warning may be needed.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds to 30 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of
snow. Waves 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 7 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2 to 4
feet.
