1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure, 29.40 inches, over eastern Lake Superior
will lift northeast this evening pulling a cold front through
Lake Huron. A second low pressure system will drop into southern
MN out of Canada Thursday evening before lifting northeast
through the northern Great Lakes on Friday afternoon. The low
will deepen to around 29.30 inches and will likely bring a round
of gales on Friday.

.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Showers likely early in the
evening. Rain showers in the late evening and overnight. Waves 2
feet or less.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west 5 to 10
knots late in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Showers likely early in
the morning. Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 5 to 10 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots after midnight. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.FRIDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots becoming southwest to 30 knots
in the late morning and afternoon. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Mostly
sunny. Waves 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 7 feet.  A Gale
Warning may be needed.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots diminishing to 10 to 15
knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly sunny becoming partly
sunny in the afternoon becoming mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Clear. Waves 2 feet or
less.
