...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Washington...

  Puyallup River At Puyallup affecting Pierce County.

  Puyallup River Near Orting affecting Pierce County.

  Chehalis River At Porter affecting Grays Harbor County.

.Another round of heavy rain will impact the region tonight into
tomorrow, with additional flooding through the next several days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Chehalis River at Porter.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 49.0 feet, the Chehalis River in Grays Harbor will
  flood pasture lands and many roads...including SR 12 between
  Oakville and Rochester. High tidal levels at Aberdeen will worsen
  flooding along the lower reaches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 47.9 feet.
  - Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening and continue rising to a crest of 49.8 feet
    where it will remain from late Wednesday through early Friday
    morning.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Puyallup River at Puyallup.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, the Puyallup will flood the lower reaches
  of the river from Sumner downstream to the mouth...overtopping and
  possibly damaging some levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 PM PST Tuesday the stage was 20.9 feet.
  - Flood stage is 26.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late
    tomorrow morning, reaching a around 27.8 feet tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then crest just below 30.0 feet Thursday,
    before falling below flood stage Thursday evening.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    29.6 feet on 01/08/2009.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Puyallup River near Orting.

* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16,000.0 cfs, the Puyallup River will cause major
  flooding from Orting downstream through McMillan to Sumner. Swift
  and deep flood waters will inundate roads...residential areas...
  and farms. Erosion will likely damage levees.  Flooding will occur
  all along the river including headwaters...tributaries...and other
  streams within and near the Puyallup River Basin.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 PM PST Tuesday the flow was 4,670.0 cfs.
  - Flood flow is 10,000.0 cfs.
  - Forecast...The river will sharply rise above flood stage very
    early Wednesday morning, reaching around 17,000 cfs late
    Wednesday morning. It will hold around this level through
    Thursday morning, falling below flood stage later Thursday.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    16,900.0 cfs on 01/07/2009.
