Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
400 AM PDT Tue Jun 4 2024

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT THIS MORNING...

.DISCUSSION....The next frontal system associated with the atmospheric
river event will continue to move across the region today, bringing
gusty winds and rain. Showers will continue through tonight and will
taper into Wednesday. Warmer and drier conditions expected the second
half of the week as an upper level ridge builds over Western Washington
through Friday. The ridge shifts east Saturday and allows for a weak
upper level trough to move through on Sunday.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
