Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
257 AM PDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...Upper level ridging will remain in place through
Tuesday evening, resulting in warm and dry conditions. Low afternoon
RH values are expected Tuesday afternoon, getting as low 30 pct in
Cascade valleys and in the Chehalis River valley. A frontal system is
expected to enter the area Wednesday with cool temperatures and the
chance of showers. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible over the
North Cascades, but rainfall amounts will minimize ignition
concerns. Temperatures will warm for the second half of the week.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
