Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
209 PM PDT Tue Jun 18 2024

.DISCUSSION...Drier northwest flow on Wednesday although there
is a slight chance of thunderstorms in the North Cascades, near the
crest. Warm and dry weather Thursday and Friday with fuels drying.
Minimum relative humidities will approach 30 percent, possibly into
the upper 20 percent range, especially south of the Puget Sound.
However, winds and RHs will not meet critical thresholds. A pattern
change is on track for the latter part of the weekend with cooler and
wet conditions returning.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
