Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
757 AM PDT Mon Sep 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...Continued warming and drying conditions will continue
across Western Washington. Dry and unstable conditions may develop
toward midweek with the high pressure solidly overhead. Later in the
week, some monsoonal moisture may move into the region to boost the
chances for isolated thunderstorms, especially near the Cascades.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
