Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
743 AM PDT Mon Jul 14 2025

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TUESDAY TO 10 PM PDT
WEDNESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A weak disturbance today is strengthening the onshore
flow and resulting in somewhat cooler conditions from yesterday,
though lack of widespread low level cloudiness will moderate the
cool down. High pressure rebuilds starting Tuesday with a developing
thermal trough building over the region, bringing the potential for
elevated fire weather concerns due to low humidity and breezy winds
Tuesday through Thursday with lower confidence late this week.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
