Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western Washington
National Weather Service Seattle WA
230 PM PDT Tue Jun 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...A weak front brings chances for rain late tonight and
throughout the day Wednesday. A widespread wetting rain is not
expected with this system. Dry conditions resume Thursday, but
another system for the weekend may bring a better chance for wetting
rains, especially in the Cascades. Onshore flow will persist
throughout the forecast period with overnight humidity recoveries
look excellent.

Forecast for 20 foot wind speed (valleys and ridge tops) are 10
 minute averages reflecting RAWS winds.
