.SYNOPSIS...Cool and unsettled conditions continue across
Western Washington this weekend. A system moving southward from
British Columbia Sunday will bring the first noteworthy high
elevation snow of the season with strong winds near the summit. Drier
conditions will return early next week with offshore flow.
Typical autumnal conditions return later next week.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult mountaineering
conditions near the summit, with local blizzard-like conditions,
strong winds, and near zero visibility. A high level of skill and
experience in alpine terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended
for navigation and camping in these conditions.

PDT MONDAY...

.SATURDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. Patchy fog in the evening. Areas
of fog late in the evening. Rain and snow in the evening, then a
chance of rain and snow after midnight. Little or no snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 6000 feet decreasing
to 4500 feet after midnight.
.SUNDAY...Rain and snow. Patchy fog. Snow accumulation near
Paradise up to 3 inches. Snow level near 4000 feet.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Patchy fog in the evening. Rain and snow. Snow
accumulation near Paradise of 3 to 4 inches. Snow level near
4000 feet.
.COLUMBUS DAY...Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow.
Light snow accumulations. Snow level near 3500 feet.
