.SYNOPSIS...An approaching, offshore upper level low will set
the stage for a shift to much cooler and wetter weather through
the weekend and into early next week. In addition to widespread
rain there will be periods of breezy conditions, and lowering snow
levels Saturday night into early next week that will result in
the first notable high elevation snow of the season.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit will make it difficult to
move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions. A high
level of skill and experience in alpine terrain, including use of
GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in these
conditions.

.THURSDAY...Cloudy with rain and snow likely in the morning, then
mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in the late morning
and early afternoon. Mostly sunny late in the afternoon. No snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 8500 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain and snow
in the evening, then a chance of rain and snow after midnight.
Snow level near 9000 feet.
.FRIDAY...Rain and snow likely. No snow accumulation near
Paradise. Snow level near 8000 feet.
