.SYNOPSIS...
Showers drying up Sunday as a weak upper level ridge builds over
the park Sunday night. Next system moving inland mainly to the
south Monday. The system will try and lift north into the park
Monday night into Tuesday. Organized front arriving Tuesday night
into Wednesday but with the jet aimed into Northern
California/Southern Oregon this system will be weakening as it
moves into the park. A more consolidated system moving into the
area late in the week.

.IMPACTS...Strong winds near the summit will make it difficult to
move safely and could produce local whiteout conditions Sunday
through Tuesday. A high level of skill and experience in alpine
terrain, including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and
camping in these conditions.

.SUNDAY...Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers becoming mostly
sunny in the afternoon. Snow level near 3500 feet. Freezing level
near 5000 feet in the afternoon.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Cloudy. A slight chance of snow showers after
midnight. No snow accumulation near Paradise. Freezing level near
5500 feet in the evening.
.MONDAY...Cloudy with a chance of rain and snow. Snow level near
4000 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Rain and snow likely in the evening, then rain
and snow after midnight. Moderate snow accumulations. Snow level
near 4500 feet.
.TUESDAY...Mostly cloudy with rain and snow likely in the
morning, then mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and snow in the
afternoon. Snow level near 6000 feet.
