...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following
  counties, Bourbon, Cherokee and Crawford and southwest Missouri,
  including the following counties, Barry, Barton, Jasper, Lawrence,
  McDonald, Newton and Stone.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rain and thunderstorms repeatedly moving over the same area
    could result in flash flooding. A localized band up to 4 to 7
    inches of rainfall is possible in the watch area.
