National Weather Service Springfield MO
355 AM CDT Mon Aug 17 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Warmer than normal conditions will persist into at least the
middle of the week, although it will be a little cooler at times.
Late week may see closer to normal temperatures, but confidence
in that is limited at this time.

Shower and thunderstorm chances return Tuesday night into
Wednesday morning, and again late Wednesday into early Thursday.
