Fire Weather Planning Forecast for southeast Kansas and southwest Missouri
National Weather Service Springfield MO
211 PM CST Tue Nov 25 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Low-level stratus clouds will slowly clear throughout the
afternoon as a cold front moves through Missouri. Occasional
northwest gusts of 20 to 25 mph will occur this evening into
Wednesday as the front approaches. Dry conditions and below-
average temperatures will occur Wednesday through most of Friday.

High chances (70% to 90%) for precipitation return late Friday
into Saturday. Rain will be the dominant precipitation type for
most of the area, but wet snow may mix in with the rain across
portions of the eastern Ozarks.
