.DISCUSSION...

Winds will be west-southwest today and remain under 10 knots. Showers
and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening into
the overnight hours (50-70% chance north of I-44) with some being
strong to severe. Winds then shift to northerly with below normal
temperatures returning.

Throughout the period, afternoon relative humidity values should
stay above 30-40%, with the lowest readings across the eastern
Ozarks on southern aspects.
