This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Significant excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Rain chances ramp up to 60 to 100 percent this evening into
tonight as a band of rain and a few thunderstorms develop
somewhere southwest of a Nevada to Gainesville line. Lightning
and localized flooding will be possible with any training
thunderstorms. A Flood Watch has been issued tonight into Thursday
afternoon across the far southwest corner of Missouri and
southeast corner of Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There are 60 to 100 percent chances for showers and a few
embedded thunderstorms to continue across the area into Thursday.
Heavy rain, lightning, and localized flooding are all possible
across the southwest corner of Missouri and southeast corner of
Kansas.
